I wish I could call it a day but I have many, many hours of travel ahead before then. Just so you know I'm not exaggerating, in an hour I take a half hour shuttle to the Durban airport where I will wait about 2 hours for my short flight to Johanessburg. When I get to Johanessburg I have about a 3 hour wait for my 11 hour flight to Heathrow. I'm in Heathrow another 3 hours before boarding the final leg of 11 hours to LAX. And of course that is if everything is on time. But oh well, that's traveling and when it's all said and done it's just a couple of boring uncomfortable days in my life which is a cheap price for the wonderful trip I've had.
Oh yeah, I forgot to add on the 9 hour bus ride yesterday from Chintsa to Durban. But that was yesterday.
My time in Durban is obviously brief and I can't say much about it. It is here that I have felt the full weight of solo travel. This picture was last night's room which I laughingly call my prison cell. Didn't really matter because I was only here for 12 hours and it was less than $30 for the night. However, I did have the most interesting night hanging with some local musicians who are playing at backpacker stops for room and board. So sorry I didn't have my phone to record them and their hauntingly beautiful acoustic music.
