Civilization . . . for a night

This will be short as it's almost 11 PM and I have a 6:45 AM pick up to take me to my next destination but I promised to write each night when I have wifi. Not only do I have wifi but a private bath with soaps and lotions and a tv with lots of channels, a stocked minibar and a great bed. I love camping and being kind of grubby and really playing up my inner hippie, but there is nothing like some real amenities when you've been away from them for a bit.

I am in Port Elizabeth which is pretty much just a stopping off point for people who are either going to the western Cape Garden Route that I just completed or they head east up the Wild Coast where the water is warmer and the sharks are bigger. (Just kidding about the sharks, I think.) Tomorrow I'll arrive in Chintsa around noon and be there for a few days which will be a nice change of pace. I also understand from the people I've been traveling with, and yes, there are some of the same people on the bus along the way, that Buccanneer's where I am headed is the best spot on the western Cape. I guess we'll know soon enough.
