The one item I always forget to pack

I'm here. I made it. I am in South Africa. More specifically I am in a suburb of Johannesburg called Sandton overnighting before I catch a train out tomorrow.
The hotel is near the Nelson Mandela Square which is surrounded by hotels and a large shopping complex. As thorough as I was with my packing, the one thing I seem to consistently overlook is a nail clipper. Who can go two weeks not to mention a travel day without breaking a nail?
Look at this super cute maincure set I found at the local "Target" . The little birds are nail files and it even has an orange stick for pushing back cuticles and a point for touching up polish mistakes. $3.00 Cute right.

This is not the travel excitement I am sure you were hoping to experience but for me, the tiny, local moments are my favorite. The last thing I felt like doing when I finally got to my hotel was go shopping for necessities, (the other being a plug adapter for South Africa which I didn't have). I promise more adventure stories in the future but tonight I need rest before I hit my next challenge - finding my train and getting checked in. Then it's 36 hours across South Africa to fill you in. Or live more exciting stories then buying a nail file.
